Using VRChat to take advantage of full-body tracking.Click both Interact buttons (commonly Trigger) on regulators all the while.Don’t just have hands/arms lined up with symbol’s hands/arms during alignment, so don’t stress over them to an extreme. Alternatively, adjust arms to symbol components.Actually, look at the hip tracker and guarantee it is in a sensible area. This permits perspective to constantly be suitable, accepting to set it accurately in the SDK. Symbol will be connected or “stuck” to HMD.Ensure play space is aligned appropriately and not counterbalanced by devices like Open VR Advanced Settings or Playspace Mover. On the off chance that this is inaccurate, feet might go through the floor! Guarantee Height setting in the Settings menu is correct.Enter Calibration mode by booting into VRChat while wearing Full-Body following, changing to another symbol, or tapping the “Adjust” button in the Quick Menu.To Calibrate, it is least demanding to follow this system. When stacked in, the symbol will be in a T-Pose and have little circles on the places where trackers are found. However it’s more expensive but would overall be a much higher quality vr headset and controller experience for not much more.Boot-up VRChat with the expected trackers combined with SteamVR will consequently distinguish that the user is in “Full-Body” mode. The good news is the index is built on the same infrastructure as the vive to the trackers work as intended here. The difference in tracking quality now I use vive is night and day something about the headset being in the same environment as the trackers helps stabilize how the trackers communicate to the overall setup unlike having the rift headset in another environment. That said best of luck with the setup I did it for a year and I regret not just going with a vive from the start would have saved a ton of money and time. Also not uncommon for steam VR updates to break the setup until the tools get updated which thankfully was always fast. The calibration tool only works so well but expect your body to randomly fly away even when standing still or tracking to get lost when you move fast. The tracking for this setup is already awful as it is given you’re merging two vr environments. Let me know if this was helpful and if you need help you can contact me kn discord: DAAN#2269ĭon’t bother with the one base station method. I also recommend installing openvr advanced settings: Sometimes it can get a bit of but then just recalibrate it, it isn't much work. Once your done it set and it will save the profile. Once opening it you should grab one of your touch controllers and stick one tracker to it like its glued to it and press start calibration(make sure you got the right devices selected) try to make like eight while swinging you're controller to the air so it can be calibrated better. this little tool calibrate your vive trackers because there isn't a hmd so they know there location. Once that is done I recommend to restart your pc/laptop.
